The background of our
organisation.
TACEP program was established in September 2008 after the Eastwind community group members in Boise Idaho USA and Touch Africa Directors/ Founders launched the program.
In this area Kaloleni education is a privilege especially to the less fortunate kids, vulnerable and orphans and it was on this note that we had to identify it as our center of focus. The project is registered officially under the NON GORVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATION BOARD certificate no OP.218/051/13 0378/9253
The project has now moved from a church based to a community charitable organization known as KENYA KIDS IN BOSIE IDAHO USA ,which is the umbrella of sponsors contributing for their kids education in collaboration with TACEP KENYA.
The project selected it’s first 20 kids and grew the number to about 250 kids, now coming down to 198 kids since most of the kid’s have finished school.
Our mission is to help the needy to achieve their education goals.
- Sensitization on the need to support and reach out to vulnerable and needy children in the community.
- To help in improving of the general welfare of the children in terms of education, food, shelter, health and clothing.
- To act as an alternative source towards data sampling, survey on children issues in the
community.
